Profile

PeaceWorks, an initiative of the Seagull Foundation for the Arts, is a programme that has a portfolio of projects with the overall aim of building peace, of strengthening values of mutual coexistence and respect for all communities. With this goal in mind, the Seagull Foundation for the Arts, through its Arts and Media Resource Centre (SAMRC), has organised and implemented a series of events with students - workshops, film screenings followed by group discussions, dramatic performances, creative writing competitions and more. SAMRC has become a pivotal space for the PeaceWorks programme by providing resources, facilitators and by bringing together committed individuals who contribute their skills to the project.
